Open House:
Thursday will be open for returning students, parents, educators and job seekers—don’t miss this chance to connect with walk-ins seeking opportunities!

Who:
Over 2,600 high school students in grades 9–12 participated in last year’s daytime tours, engaging directly with hands-on exhibits and Union apprenticeship pathways.

The Open House is designed for adults exploring careers in construction, returning students, and parents seeking pathways for their children.

This session is actively promoted across multiple media channels to reach individuals seeking new career opportunities in the skilled trades.

Where:
Summit County Fairgrounds
1050 North Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278

What:
Last year’s event brought together 15 Union Apprenticeship Training Centers and 35 contractors and suppliers, creating direct access to a wide range of skilled trades career paths.

Through live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and one-on-one interaction with industry professionals, students gain a real understanding of the trades — not just a brochure version.

For participating organizations, this is a direct pipeline to engage and recruit future talent.
